Thick frizzy wavy hair?

well thats wht it is...and ive gotten suggestions about mayonaise OR olive oil.....which works better??

Thick frizzy wavy hair?

- Go wavy! Read the book and visit the sites below about curly/wavy hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your wavy hair- be happy for life!

-Use a shampoo low in sulfates or one that contains none at all such as Devacurl's low poo. Some health food store have organic shampoos with no sulfates also. Sulfates dry out wavy/curly hair- it can be found in laundry detergent!!

- Use a small amount of shampoo (every couple days) on scalp as normal and rinse. Then spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse with cold/cool water.

- Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair with your fingers. Use a towel or paper towels to gently scrunch some of the water out. Then let your hair air dry or wait ten minutes and then use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Do not touch the hair while it is air drying or it will frizz!

- Experiment with different products because everyone's hair is different. I would reccomend a light hold gel and a leave in cream or condtioner. Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Conditioner (found at health food/organic stores). The combo of products that I use daily is Garnier Fuctis Sleek and Shine Leave In Cream and Aussie Tizz No Frizz Gel, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This takes a weeks or two to begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least visit the websites. Naturally wavy hair can be beautiful! Hope this helps!

Thick frizzy wavy hair?

Hey! Stop! OK so I'm into natural hair care and beauty. Olive oil is great and mayo is awesome but I got a thing from www.getyummygood.blogspot.com that was like a natural relaxer. I still have my waves etc but my hair is beautiful. No kidding.

good luck. the girl on the blog knows her stuff you can make it at home.

I have the same hair, and mayo will work better, but if you don't use that, and you use olive oil, put it only on your ends.

Thick frizzy wavy hair?

don't even bother...you'll just make a mess and be stuck with super greasy hair. buy a flat iron or get your hair rebonded for a more pemanent solution

Thick frizzy wavy hair?

I have thick frizzy hair (not really wavy) and I use John Freida's "Frizz-Ease" serum. I think it works really well %26amp; I've been using it for a couple yrs now. it's enough to do the trick, but doesn't make my hair greasy or dirty-looking.

Pantene has a similar serum that's a bit cheaper, but I find it doesn't work quite as well as John Freida's product.

hope I could help ya' out!

isn't frizz a *****!?? ;)
