buy some frizz ease and blow dry it straight. if you know how to press your hair or if you have someone that can do it for you that may work even better. if not you'll have to use your blow dryer.

Blow it out w/ a round brush and blowdryer or by a straightening iron at your local retail Target, Walmart etc.. about $15-20 for a decent one.

they do sell relaxer at walgreens... they have all kinds and the people working there will be able to help you find the one that will work best for your hair type...

I have that same problem and what i do is take a reg brush and a hair dryer and i take the brush and start at the top holding the brush letting the hair dryer hit the hair on the brush for a few seconds working my way down and i do that all over and it works everytime good luck it will take you a few times to get use to it

A flat iron is the way to go. But get a good quality one, like hot tools brand or anything with real ceramic plates on it. It will be more expensive but it will do the job better. African American hair is hard to straighten if the iron doesn't get hot enough.

DO NOT try to chemically relax your own hair. Leave that to the pro's. You could end up with a bigger problem then what you started with.

i use alterna products, which are the best, with a good iron. since you have wavy hair you can do fun styles and your hair will hold it. buy a 1 inch plate iron and products for before you iron- starch, glaze, or straightening balm or what ever, and have fun be creative
