How can i make my super strait hair wavy?

I have the straitest hair sometimes i take a shower and blow dry it nd I wont even need to straiten it...How do I make it wavy?? Not super curly but just not flat on my head?

Any ideas?

wash your hair and add mousse or styling gel. After it has been dry for a while use a crimping iron with big waves and crimp your hair in sections making sure to crimp it from the scalp clear to the bottom. Hold the crimping iron a little longer on the bottom sections. Make sure you get the waves even. Don't brush it out for as long as possible. Then just use your fingers to comb it out a little to fluff it up some. This works great for some people and if you have hair that doesn't hold a curl very well don't brush it out and maybe use a little extra gel or mousse and don't mess with it too much. Hope it works for you. I have the craziest hair ever. Mine is very thick and curly.......very curly but extra fine like a babies hair. I like it straight mostly but if I want a little wave I straighten it completely and just add a little water to the areas that I want the waves or curls. It works very well. I am curious to know how my idea works for you if you try it. I have tried things like that on other people who have been amazed.

you could try a coulpe of these, my best friens hair is the same and mine is very curly so this is what she does.

1, sleep with curlers

2. use a curling iron and make ringlets and then shake her head around (lots of hairspray)

3, spray some spray gel in it while its wet. them scrunch it over and over with you hands.

on your wet hair put scrunching or curling mousse- i put A LOT because my hair it really straight too and it's hard to deal with- and then i add some hair spray. as i dry my hair with a hair dryer (with that nozzle thingy) on low i keep scrunching it (which takes forever to dry because i have lots and lots of thing hair). i keep adding mousse and hair spray if i feel like it's going straight. i use pantene pro-v restoratives stuff and bumble and bumble hair spray (their products are amazing..and no i'm not trying to advertise) anyways, good luck...i just wanted to let you know what i do.

I don't have straight hair but my roommate did. When she didn't want to wear it straight she would wash it then have me put about 6-10 braids with a whole bunch of gel (or beeswax) . in the morning she would take the braids out and her hair was wavy all day. Good luck.
