Where can I get my hair wavy, not a perm I have thin hair and it is some what straight. Please help. Oh and how much is it?

Search yellowpages.com for a hairstylist. Call them up one at a time and ask how much to make hair wavy. They will either give you a flat-rate price or they will ask you how long your hair is, then price you. Some places are as cheap as $20. Others are rediculously expensive.

There is really no way to make is permantently wavy without getting a perm....However, I think you are scared when you hear the term perm. There are ways to perm your hair by giving it a body WAVE which is what alot of people are getting nowadays bc they want it to look natural. most hairstylists offer a free 15 min consultation. I would suggest going to a local salon and booking an appt. for one that way u understand the maintenance, price, and outcome of the service u are looking for. good luck!

If you don't wanna pay a lot and want wavy hair...best bet is getting it done in a Beauty School. I am a stylist in Empire Beauty school and they have some cheap prices....for a perm $25 for chemical texture hair styling in our school highest price is $43 and thats for a relaxer which is not what u want u want wave. So best bet for cheaper is getting it done in a beauty school.

1-wash hair.

2-twist sections of hair around your finger the more hair the looser the curl/wave.

3-tie with a ribbon or a bit of cling film round it, not to tight though so you will have what look like knots of hair all over your head.

4-leave to dry (will take a tad longer to dry as it is wound up)

5-once dried un do hair %26amp; gently scrunch a little moose or serum in your hair for shine %26amp; hold. do not brush or this will undo your work

I say go with Jessica suggestion. It's the cheapest route. IF u want u can also wash ur hair. while damp, apply curl defining mouse (i find finesse works (no alcohol) well) Then tie your hair in a bun for bout an hour or so %26amp; let loose %26amp; it should look ok-ish.
